The Patient One - Chatham Dockyard Location Filming

  Going out to Chatham Dockyard was extremely fun! I learnt that there are some truly amazing filming locations right on my doorstep. This accessibility that the course provided was truly amazing as it meant we could film in a massive open space like this. The tour guide from the day (I can't remember his name, unfortunately) showed us areas that they have filmed over the last few years with professional film and TV shoots, such as Enola Holmes and Call the Midwife.  What we shot was an interesting part of my script The Patient One. The ending of it was certainly interesting and due to the complexity of my script some things had to be sacrificed, firstly, nighttime was swapped for the evening as we were there at the shoot during the day. Secondly, the bridge was using camera trickery and it made for a much more convoluted shoot. Lastly, the big part of the shoot was getting the people to remember their lines... and I don't know what was going on that day, but Elliot was extrem...

Project Flower Evaluation

  This process was brutal. Not because I struggled to get to grips with anything new with the production, that was all a cakewalk. But it was the fact I was working with a team who are in a completely different stage of their televisual careers than myself. I tried to create this project like it was a fully-fledged production, as I like each thing I make to be bigger than the last, but it was unfair for me to do that here, as it would cause stress and I'd be a burden for the rest of the group. The frustrations began right at the very beginning with the group being randomized, in the past, I found that working with the groups I want to work with has allowed for better collaboration efforts to be made and more stellar production outcomes have been produced. And on top of that, it was a team of people who were majority male and Maisie. This led to restrictions from the get-go, as we were using ourselves as actors for this, it put us in a creative strain that has persisted to this writ...
